2009-10: A Comedy Odyssey

You will laugh.
We guarantee it.
You can try not to. You can make every effort to keep from cracking up, but it won't happen.
You will break down. It might start with a chuckle or a grin, a chortle or a smile, but sooner or later you will be laughing out loud. Please, though, try to avoid rolling in the aisles. You have others in the audience to consider.
Our season kicks off with the October comedy, Everybody Loves Opal. John Patrick brings out the humor in a middle-aged woman who keeps to herself, a trio of convicts on the run, a series of failed murder attempts and lots and lots of money.
December brings the classic comedy The Man Who Came to Dinner. This time-tested play has more gags, props, plots and schemes than you can shake a scimitar at. The unending parade of characters reflects the heyday and hype of Hollywood's golden era.
We are also offering a dinner theatre option for the March show. After the success of last season's mix of theatre and a meal, we are pairing the canine-human love story, Sylvia, with the fine dining experience of the Times Square Event Center.
