The Man Who Came to Dinner

by George S. Kaufman & Moss Hart

After dining with the Stanleys, Sheridan Whiteside slips on their doorstep and breaks his hip. A tumultuous confinement ensues: Ex-convicts. Penguins in the library. An octopus. 10,000 cockroaches. When Maggie, his secretary, falls in love with a reporter, Whiteside summons the actress Lorraine to win the young man. Sensing the ploy, Maggie enlists the aid of a friend to lure her away. The ruse almost works, but Whiteside has a counter-plot to put the kibosh on the subterfuge. The family is ready to burst at the seams, the schemes come to coinciding heads, and the laughs don’t stop until the curtain falls.

Because the number of people auditioning for "The Man Who Came to Dinner" was not sufficient to cast the production, the December show has been changed to "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" by Joe Landry.  The cast, though few in number, are long on talent and promise an entertaining evening for you and family members of all ages.

"It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" hearkens back to the golden age of radio when families gathered for hours of wholesome entertainment.  The story line is drawn directly from the popular Frank Capra film starring Jimmy Stewart.  The actors will employ their vocal and physical talents, live radio sound effects, and period costuming to retell the heartwarming story of George Bailey's journey of self-worth.

NCT members who already have yellow ticket stubs for "The Man Who Came to Dinner" will be admitted to "It's a Wonderful Life...." using those stubs.
